Stephen Skorcz, FACHE
President & CEO
Stephen Skorcz has been President of the Greater Flint Health Coalition since mid 1997. He is a Chicago native who has spent the last 32 years heading hospital and community coalitions that have committed to voluntarily planning and coordinating health services in their communities. These communities have been as diverse as Hartford, CT; Toronto, Ontario; and Rochester, NY.

Mr. Skorcz spent ten years working in the Canadian health care system on health policy and planning and as President of the Hospital Council of Metro Toronto. In addition to the coalition activity, he has been a hospital administrator in both Chicago and New York City.

Stephen has undergraduate degrees from DePaul University, University of Illinois and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in hospital administration from Yale University. He is board certified in healthcare management and is a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives and certified with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives.
